Well this post has been a long time coming! I’ve been anticipating this day ever since Sarah and Chase asked me to photograph their wedding back in January of this year. I was SO excited to have the opportunity to photograph my friends’ wedding.

It was the PERFECT December day. Actually, it was better than any other December day. It was sunny and in the 70’s, what more could we ask for?! As I drove up the long driveway to Belle Grove Plantation I got excited all over again. I couldn’t wait to step inside and see all of Sarah and her family’s hard work. I knew it was going to be beautiful!

My presumptions were correct. Everywhere I looked there were gold accents and beautiful pink peonies. No detail had been forgotten about. Sarah did all of her own calligraphy (which is beautiful, by the way) and decorations. Belle Grove also had their Christmas decorations up which were stunning and complimented Sarah’s romantic decor. It was a Christmas Southern wedding, and it was exquisite!

Sarah and Chase’s close friends and family gathered to support and celebrate their marriage! It was great to see everyone gather around the couple. It was very clear that they are very loved by the people around them. It has also been obvious that Sarah and Chase are crazy about each other. Every time they are in the same room Sarah just lights up. Chase always has her smiling and laughing. These two are prefect for each other! I loved everything about their wedding so without further adieu, here is part one of Sarah + Chase’s wedding!
