“Celebrate the Start of Your Marriage Well”
I’m so happy and honored to introduce you to my good friend and extremely talented wedding planner, Alex Meyer Events. I honestly had to look up our email history to figure out how long we have known each other… Over a year! What!? That’s crazy! Time flies when you’re… in great company!
It all started with an email. That email led to an awesome Inspiration Shoot at Keswick Vineyards that was ultimately featured in Weddings Unveiled Magazine. Working together on that shoot we realized we had so much in common; not only our style and mission for our businesses, but also our faith. We became fast friends and so it’s not surprising that I asked Alex if she would do Matoli and I the honor of styling the inspiration shoot for our very first film workshop! We’ve grown to become better friends since then and I can’t wait to see what happens next! But the purpose of this post isn’t to tell “our” story. I want to tell you about why I hold Alex in such high esteem as a Wedding Planner.
It is Alex’s approach that I love so much.
It will only take you a few minutes to read this page of her website. Her approach seems like such a different concept. It’s not just about creating a beautiful wedding. It goes sooo much deeper than that, “Reclaim your engagement by letting go of the stress, Root each step of the planning process in who you are as a couple, Craft moments that reflect your stories and legacy, and Surround your first moments of marriage with details worth remembering!” I mean, what!?
I remember the first time when Alex told me what her vision and mission for her business was. It essentially summed up everything in her approach… and my mind was blown! A wedding planner that wants to focus on the marriage, not just the superficial elements of the wedding? Isn’t that what it is all about?!
Alex’s mission is incredible and her passion is contagious. She has inspired me to go deeper with my clients as well. And I can’t thank her enough for it. She is so special and any bride would be blessed to have her!
