This past fall…
I had a great time taking portraits of my beautiful aunt, Allison! One Sunday on our way home from Church I yelled out to Lee, “pull over… pull over HERE!… stop RIGHT here!” We had driven by this spot along the road a zillion times! But for some reason, that Sunday I saw it as A SPOT! It was beautiful! A small clearing of high grasses catching the sunlight in the field with a line of evergreens behind it. I told Allison I wanted to do a portrait session with her, so naturally, she went out shopping. What girl doesn’t shop for a photo shoot!? She found this totally awesome hat to wear for the shoot, and it was perfect. She is so stylish! Here are a few portraits of Allison I took.
It was cloudy the day we went out. I love shooting on cloudy days. Clouds are like God’s HUGE light diffusers for us! The provide the softest lighting. I LOVE it! The skies did darken while we were out, and just as we were leaving it began to sprinkle.
