Pasta!
Saturday night Lee and I made pasta at home. Italian food is one of my favorites (right along with Seafood), and nothing beats homemade pasta! It isn’t too hard to make and tastes ten times better than dried pasta. I always make extra because if you’re going to do all of the work and make the big mess, make it worth it! I got busy hand-crafting four batches of string pasta dough (one with fresh cracked pepper) and one batch of ravioli dough. Lee attended to the amazing Marinara sauce. Soon the smell of tomatoes and fresh basil filled the kitchen. Mmmm. We had Lee’s parents over for dinner to celebrate his mom’s Birthday. It was a lovely evening filled with good food and great company!
