Georgetown

Not to long ago Sarah and I were sitting in Starbucks discussing the details of her wedding!  She pulled out her wedding binder that she put together.  There were TONS of beautiful pictures of all sorts of details for her and Chase’s special day!  Most brides have put a lot of thought and effort into these details and I just LOVE getting together to talk about it!  As a photographer,  I love to do this for a few of reasons.  #1,  I  LOVE talking about details,  period.  #2,  it gives me a good indication of how the day is going to go,  the overall feel of the wedding,  and of course it gives me a heads up about the important details to capture!  I know what is important to the bride on the day of the wedding.  #3,  We can start to discuss the schedule of the day and brainstorm together.  My goal is to let my couples enjoy their day as much as possible,  which requires some planning ahead.

Anyways!  While we were there talking,  Sarah suggested going to Georgetown!  One of our favorite stores is there,  Anthropoloie.  They were having a sale AND Sarah had a coupon.  We really didn’t need much more of a reason than that.  Haha.  We spent the whole day walking around Georgetown,  eating,  shopping,  sightseeing.  It was great!  We grabbed lunch and dessert from Dean & Deluca, yumm…  And we split a cupcake from Georgetown Cupcakes as a “power snack.”  We had a great time.  Here are a couple of pictures from our afternoon.

We got lunch “to go” D&D and found a spot to sit on the edge of the canal.

The ducks were hanging out under our feet.

The AHmazing window display @ All Saints! We spotted it from across the street and HAD to check it out!
