Jessica (Part 1)

Whenever I am in the Virginia Beach area I always love to spend time with Jessica.  She has always welcomed me into her home,  and for that I’m very thankful!  We always spend the time catching up on each others’ lives,  usually over a plate full of snowcrab legs and steamed oysters!  I love our peacefully dinners by the ocean.  For us,  “girls time” isn’t about going out and partying…  We just like to relax,  eat good food,  and be adventurous!  (This past trip we tried paddleboarding… FUN!)

Jess and I have a running joke that every time I go down to visit her is ALWAYS rains!  I really think that I always bring the clouds and rain with me each time I go to Virginia Beach…  Which is the LAST thing you want when you’re at the BEACH!  But we have a great time together regardless of the weather.

Back in November I took a trip to visit with Jess.  We did a short photo session on the beach…  yes, it WAS cold.  But hey…  We had the beach all to ourselves!  :)  So this time we wanted to do a shoot with WARM weather.  Naturally, it was cloudy most of the weekend I was there and it also rained on more than one occasion.  Due to the weather we ended up postponing her photo session until the morning I had to leave.  We got up at 4am to get ready for the session.  And of course…  it was cloudy.  But we didn’t let that stop us.  The clouds provided some relief from the hot morning sun and gave Jess the world’s largest softbox to stand under!

We decided to do a styled shoot with several wardrobe changes!  And no styled shoot wouldn’t be complete without some faux fur!  ;)
