So again,  here are some more pictures for the second roll of film (Kodak’s Porta400).  I’m not thrilled with the contrast.  I usually like a much lighter “airy” picture with less contrast,  and softer color.  But he is STILL the cutest dog I own! ;)

 I also need to be more mindful of my DOF (depth of field).  With film you can’t “check” the focus.  With digital it is super easy to review the image on the LCD,  zoom in and check for focus.  I usually love shooting with a shallow DOF,  but it can be tricky…  get the focal point in the wrong spot and its,  “opps!”  Or, like the second image…  the DOF was so shallow that his long snout went out of the focal plane…  I think that could’ve been done with his snout still “soft focus” but not quite this soft.
