Film B+W (Pt 1)
I had a great time in CA last week! Lee and I returned home on Sunday, and we are leaving again this weekend but this time we are headed in different directions. I am only home for three days before I have to pack my bags again, but I’m looking forward to my trip to Hilton Head. :)
Last week I scheduled a week of blog posts about a personal project I’m working on. I’ve been playing around with film lately, and when I was out in CA I rented a medium format film camera! Of course I brought along my Canon as “back up” but to tell you the truth, I didn’t use it much! I was having so much fun shooting with film and I’m anxious to get those photos back from the lab!
Upon returning home I received the images from a roll of 35mm film that I sent to the lab before I left for CA. I have started to take my film camera to sessions to practice taking a few shots. If I think they are “up to par” I include them in the images I present to my client. I took a couple pictures of Sylvia and AriAnna on this roll of B+W and there are a couple of images that I LOVE! But for now… I will show you the images from our trip to Lake Anna and of Tucker & Maizey.
These pictures were taken at night at Lake Anna. We all sat around a fire just relaxing under the stars. I of course had to grab my roll of black and white and take some pictures of the fire and outdoor lights that were creating a beautiful pattern on the ground!
