Whew!  It was a busy weekend!  Lee and I got up at 5am to drive out to the Hot Air Balloon festival on Saturday morning (pictures will be on the blog soon).  We had a blast,  but we were only home for a short period before we each had to split ways again.  He took the youth group to a concert,  and I met up with Kelly Ewell to shoot another wedding!  This summer has gone by SO fast and it doesn’t look like things will slow down going into the fall!

So let’s get back on track to sharing my pictures from California.  While in California I rented a medium format film camera to have fun with.  Of course I took it to the winery that I was MOST looking forward to visiting!  Unfortunately our schedule did not allow us to be at these wineries at the “magic hour” for photography,  but I tried to make the best of it!

This is Chateau St. Jean.  This winery had a tasting room and a couple of garden courtyards as well at a huge patio,  and bocce ball!  It is my goal to one day photograph a wedding here.  It is just fabulous!
