Do Not be Discouraged
First I must say I have AMAZING clients. And I must also say that one of those clients is a dear friend of mine. Sarah has kept me up to speed on her wedding plans whenever we are able to get together and she also sends me pictures and tells me about the beautiful details! She has also been planning these final preparations for her big day from a distance! Sarah and her fiance, Chase, are both in their first year of dental school! I’m so proud of both of them and I KNOW they will both do very well.
Sarah has also been involved in the recent planning stages of re-branding my business. I always have a hard time making decisions (just ask my husband about the routine of trying to find a place to eat after church! haha). But Sarah and I have very similar styles and taste. I trust her judgement and I asked her to help me through this re-branding process.
She knows about my worries that come along with taking the next big leap of faith. She told me that she was sending me a package and just the other day it arrived! I opened it and there was an envelope attached to a gold wrapped canvas. Sarah wrote me an encouraging note that meant a LOT to me. Inside the gold tissue paper was a canvas wrap that she hand painted. It said,
…in Christ alone my hope is found, He is my light, my strength, my song…
It was JUST the encouragement I needed. We often get caught up in our daily battles and sometimes loose hope and get discouraged. As we all take that next leap of faith, we have to be reminded that Christ is our hope, our light, our strength, and our song. I can’t thank Sarah enough for reminding me of this. As I make plans for the new office space, I know I will be hanging this canvas right next to my desk!
