Christian + Amanda | Cana Vineyards Wedding

I had the privilege of photographing Christian and Amanda’s wedding this past Saturday. It was held at Cana Vineyards and Winery, located just outside of Middleburg, VA. The venue was fantastic and the scenery was perfect with the colorful leaves on the trees. Amanda’s orange and wheat themed decor was perfect for their fall themed wedding! These two are such sweet people. I know Christian from work, and he is a very hard working guy that has a fantastic attitude in everything he does. I had the pleasure of meeting Amanda at their initial consultation with me and over the last few months I have gotten to know her. She is such a sweet, kind-hearted person. I felt like I was showing up to photograph a long-time friend’s wedding. Amanda and Christian are so personable like that. You spend an hour with them and you feel like you’ve known them forever. Awesome people!

I could have photographed the details of their wedding all-day-long! There were so many beautiful details that Christian and Amanda had thoughtfully planned and put together. I loved every single one of them. The ceremony was elegant; held on the patio overlooking the hills and mountains of Virginia. The tall space heaters and candles in the aisle set the mood for the guests that had gathered to witness Christian and Amanda’s vows. Home-made dream catchers and stars floated above the crowd as Amanda walked down the aisle to the tunes of two live musicians. The whole atmosphere just oozed fall-elegance and fun!

The other fantastic thing they did was have s’mores ingredients ready for the outdoor fire pits that were set up in the side yard. The groomsmen stood in a circle around the fire with smiles that were brimming with cigars, great stories, and laughter. It was clear that Amanda and Christian spent the evening of their wedding surrounded by their close friends and family. It was a great sight to see.
