David + Elizabeth Wedding Part 1 | Second Shooting | Warrenton Wedding Photographer
I had a blast second shooting for Kelly Ewell again! I am so thankful for the opportunities I have had to second shoot with her. I feel like we work well together and I have learned SO much from her. The best advice I can give to any new photographer out there is to second shoot as much as you can. It is fun to learn and exchange technical ideas and tricks. But I think the most valuable things I’ve learned from my time with Kelly is how to handle everything else! All of those tight timelines, figuring out how to make it work, ways to get the job done when things are working against you. How to handle a bride that is panicking because she got lipstick on her dress, how to handle the uncle Bob’s out there who own a camera and ask you a million questions about it during the reception, how to QUICKLY change CF cards, etc. It’s those things that you can’t read in a text book or learn from a seminar. It just comes from experience! And I’m so thankful I’ve had the opportunity to learn from Kelly!
Well, I had the privilege of meeting David and Elizabeth on their special day! They were such a sweet couple. The wedding was fantastic, the weather was great (albeit a little chilly, but still beautiful), and the scenery was grand! Here are some of my favorites from their wedding day!
Part Two of Elizabeth and David’s Wedding will be on the Blog Tomorrow!
