Boudoir Session | Northern Virginia Boudoir Photographer

I was very hesitant to start offering boudoir sessions. I am very conservative by nature and so I wasn’t sure if there was a place in this world for “conservative boudoir” photography. But I decided that if there wasn’t already a place, I’d carve one out! There is one reason why I decided to offer this. I want to show women how beautiful they truly are in a world that constantly tells them they are not good enough. I wrote a separate blog post about this very topic; you can see it here. And being conservative, I have very specific guidelines for my boudoir sessions including the wardrobe, poses, showing the images, etc.

I very rarely blog about boudoir sessions because I strongly believe that the images are only for these women and their spouses. However, I realized that I needed to have a small portfolio of my work to show to potential clients. So I posted a model call and asked if someone would model for me so that I could show a couple of images, and I was very lucky to be able to work with this lovely lady!
