For the past several years we have gone on a summer vacation with my dad’s side of the family to Hilton Head Island, SC. I always look forward to these trips because we get to see family that lives half way across the US. These vacations are always relaxing, fun, and peaceful.

Every year we get up early (at least 2 times) to do a sunrise walk on the beach. It is so quite, the heat hasn’t set in yet, and so beautiful when the sun is just coming up over the horizon. Monday morning I went down to the beach with Grandma Boo and Aunt Susan for a 6:30 walk. I took my cameras to snap a few photos of this perfect time of day.

I shot a roll of Fuji 400h, and I will post those when I get the film scans back from the lab. But in the meantime, here are a few digital shots.
