Christmas is almost here!
Well Lee and I finally did it! We finally decorated for Christmas this past Sunday. I love this time of year… I love the music (I’ve been listening to my Christmas Pandora station since September), the decorations, the amazing food, the shopping, the wrapping… But for some reason decorating felt a little like a chore this year. Maybe because we’re so busy? Last year we literally didn’t have the time to decorate (such a bummer) and this year we had to make time. Even then Lee was doing homework in-between the stages of decorating. And even though we only did a fraction of what I’d love to do, at least we can say we decorated! The tree is up and the music is playing… :)
Another bonus Christmas surprise, I was cleaning my office the other day and ran across these photos from last year’s Christmas celebrations with the family… These were taken on film (of course) with my vintage Yashica camera. It’s a fun little thing!
My mom’s stocking from her childhood!
And the Christmas where Lee played a song for everyone on his grandfather’s ukelele. <3
