Q: Did you have help with the wedding planning? If so, explain.

A: Pinterest!
Q: How did you find your photographer?
A: She was highly recommended from our friends after doing their wedding.
Q: Did you meet with them before hiring them? Do you think this helped in the decision making process?
A: Yes, this did help as we were able to see more work to ensure our styles and personalities matched. We had previously met with a few other photographers, and after meeting with Kristen, we just clicked and knew she would best be able to capture our special day.
Q: What was one of the most memorable moments from your wedding?
A: Looking back on our day, it feels like a fairytale. I loved our ceremony and the feeling I had as Lyle and I committed our love to each other.
Q: What is your favorite picture from your day?
A: I love them all, but especially love the photos captured after our ceremony with our bridal party and our portraits.
Q: What was the biggest challenge on that day?
A: Making sure that Lyle and I took time to take in the day and our special moments. The time leading up to our wedding day, and the morning of was very fast paced. It is important to relax and enjoy what you have worked so hard to come together.
Q: If there is one thing that you could have done differently, what would it be?
A: I know time is not something you can change, but I would have loved to have more time to spend with our friends and family.
Q: What’s the biggest piece of advice you can give to other brides that are planning their weddings?
A: Pick a few things that are most important to you and the groom, and focus your attention and money into those. All the other details will fall into place. It is easy to let small details cause stress, but at the end of the day, what is most important is right in front of you!
Q: Is there anything else you’d like to share with other brides?
A: Start planning early and take on one project at a time. Remember to have fun! This is a once in a lifetime celebration, enjoy every minute of it.
