It was early Spring 2013 when Violeta contacted me. We met up at It’s About Thyme (market) in Culpeper, one of my favorite places! It had been almost 7 years since I’d seen Violeta! We went to high school together but once everyone went off to college everyone seems to loose touch. One of the blessings about having this business is that it had reconnected me with people, and that certainly includes Violeta!

So we sat at a cafe table eating blubbery scones discussing the plans for her wedding. I loved everything she was telling me about the wedding. She also told me about how she and Chris reconnected after high school and fell in love! I loved hearing their story again at the wedding through Zac’s (the best man) speech. Just as Violeta was telling me last Spring, her wedding was beautiful! The color of the day was purple and the floral arrangements were phenomenal! It was nice seeing some familiar faces at the wedding! I recognized a lot of people I went to high school with! The only bad part about my job (if there is one) is that I don’t have time to stop and chat with everyone. :/ But it was still great to see these people again, coming together to celebrate Violeta & Chris!
