At the end of July my family went to Hilton Head Island. It has become a regular meeting place for my dad’s side of the family. One evening while taking a walk on the beach I started to quiz Harrison about photography. He is around it all the time, so I figure he must be picking SOMETHING up. He surprised me by how much he knew, and we talked about stuff he didn’t. Before the end of our walk he had my camera and was taking shots in manual mode! And he was able to figure out what to do to get whatever exposure he was going after! Woot woot! Smart kid!

Anyway, he does not like to be in front of the camera… Shocking. But with some good ol’ sibling teasing, I got him in front of the lens for a couple of “soft” shots. I told him they would look cool!
