I had SO much fun organizing this past December’s Styled Shoot! It is a lot of work contacting vendors, planning the sets, organizing the info, recruiting sponsors, and getting other awesome photographers signed up… but it is SO worth it!

One of the awesome things about planning a styled shoot is that you can do whatever you want! Whatever you dream of photographing, you can make it happen. It’s fun to bring your ideas and visions to life and be able to share them with others. I enjoyed inviting other photographers to come out and shoot with me! After the fantastic photo shoot we all sat down and socialized over a tasty dinner (thank you Dawn at The Inn at Vint Hill again for the GREAT food!). It was so nice to be able to talk to other photographers about their businesses and plans. I knew I wanted my styled shoot to be more than just taking pictures! 

I also knew from the start that I would submit this shoot for publication. I’ve always loved Style Me Pretty and so they were my first stop! I was absolutely thrilled when I got the email saying that the article was in their line-up! I can’t thank all of the vendors enough who helped make this styled shoot a success! I love our shout out at the end of the article! :)
