After communicating through emails and phone calls I was SO happy to finally meet this couple! They are coming all the way from New York to have their wedding in Virginia this September!!!

We met up at Union Station in DC to start their engagement session. I’ll admit that I hate driving into DC. I’m a small town girl who loves the rolling hills and countryside and gets nervous driving into big cities. But I’ll also admit that once I’m there, I love it! And my wonderful husband went with me to assist me and we only made one wrong turn! That’s unheard of for me driving in DC. Haha.

But anyway, Union Station was beautiful. Rain was in the forecast for the entire weekend, but we lucked out and had a GREAT day! Instead of shooting inside we were able to walk around DC and enjoy the daylight. We had fun getting to know Julia and Brendan… maybe too much fun… In fact, there was a moment when Julia and I found a great spot to shoot and so we were trying to get the guys attention to set up the next shot. But they were so caught up in some talk about sports that they didn’t hear us calling them the first few times. Julia and I were both just standing there, tapping our toes, and laughing at the whole situation! ;)

Thank you so much Julia and Brendan for making the trip into DC. I enjoyed our time together and I can’t wait to celebrate with you on your big day!!!!
