Over the last couple of months I had been planning a surprise (mini)vacation for Lee. I wanted to do this for him because the past two years he’s missed our annual family vacation to the beach due to traveling to Indiana for school. Lee is getting his MBA through Indiana University and I couldn’t be more proud of him! Not only has he been working really hard on that (and making awesome grades of course), but he is also working full time, pulling long hours at the office and traveling often. I knew he needed and deserved some time off (and he wasn’t going to do it himself) so I began scheming. ;) I found a lake house about an hour away from home and arranged his time off from work with his wonderful boss. It also just happened to be the week in between semesters at school, so thankfully Lee was free to relax!!! Woo hoo! I took one camera and a few rolls of film to document. We spent most of our time next to the water and brought along our Tucker buddy… who by the way, LOVES to swim.
