Ok… yes, another French title. I just can’t help it. I took French in high school forever ago and there are a few words/phrases that stuck with me. I find these words and phrases amusing to say. On top of that my youngest brother is taking French in school so I’m sort-of living vicariously through him. But don’t ask me to speak to you in French because it won’t (and can’t) happen. But if I’m walking around the house and Lee asks me a question I don’t know the answer to I’ll spout out, “je ne sais pas!” I’ve said that one enough now that Lee now knows what it means. He even (on occasion) tries to mock me by muttering something along the lines of, “je nu pu pas” which could totally be a profanity for all we know. Haha.

But onto the real topic of this blog post! Today marks the second year I’ve officially been in business. Wow… has it already been that long!? It really feels like longer than that and I’m amazed and proud of how far I’ve come in that time. I’ve learned a lot about photography in that time, gained a lot of experience, and learned way more (than I ever wanted to know) about things like business accounting, SEO, website design, and insurance. But I will take the good with the “bad” because the good is SO stinking awesome.

I know I say it a lot, and I probably sound like a broken record… but I truly have been blessed with my clients. I’ve had the opportunity to work with some of the sweetest people ever, and I’ve been able to document one of the happiest days of their lives. It’s an honor to be able to serve them, with all that I can, in order to preserve these memories. 2014 was an awesome year and I’m so thankful for all that happened and all that I accomplished… But I’m looking forward to what 2015 will bring.
