You might recognize this couple from a previous blog post!  I first met Rudy and Megan at the Styled Shoot organized by The Style Collaborative back in September.  They were my favorite couple to work with just because they were so friendly, laid back, and easy to talk to.  It also didn’t hurt that they were TOTALLY photogenic and were very natural in front of the camera.  So you can imagine how thrilled I was when they contacted me about their wedding photography!

This past weekend we had a great time in DC for their engagement shoot.  They were AWESOME and got up at the crack of dawn to do a sunrise session with me.  Not only did they get up early,  but they looked like a million bucks!  I was loving Megan’s J.Crew rhinestone sweater and coordinating glitter pumps.  <3  Oh,  and did I mention how awesome these two are?!

We started at Kramer Books,  the location of their first date!!!  We wandered around the store to find some of their favorite books to use for pictures.  Rudy is a lawyer and Megan is a teacher so Rudy had the CUTEST idea to get a picture of Megan reading a “lawyer” book and Rudy reading a “kid” book!  I though it was such a great and unique idea.  I just love the way these pictures turned out.

After Kramer Books we headed out to Georgetown to snag some waterfront pictures.  Then we finished up by walked around the old row-homes in Georgetown to take in the pretty architecture and fall leaves that were still clinging to the trees.  It was a great morning with this couple and I am so excited for their wedding next July!  These two are truly a dream to work with.
