California | Kristen Lynne Photography | Warrenton Photographer
I have the countdown on my phone for United 2014 – a conference for photographers held in Santa Barbara, CA. Right now there is only 25 days, 14 hours, and 56 minutes until I will be headed for California again. I can not wait to escape this cold weather and meet up with other photographers!!! This will be my first time going to this conference and I’m so excited to attend the classes, meet there photographers, take LOTS of pictures at the shoot outs…
But all of this thinking about going to California reminded me of my first trip there this past summer. Lee was attending a conference for work in San Jose the first half of the week we were there. So I took the rental car and explored! I drove into San Francisco by myself (this is a big deal b/c I detest driving in cities, especially new ones) to rent a Medium Format Camera. I had been practicing with my Canon 35mm, but I was ready to play. Enter the Mamiya 645AF! I had a blast with that camera the whole week we were there. I was even able to talk Lee into a couple of pictures. ;) I know I’ve posted these pictures before, but I can’t help posting my favorites again. I just loved our time in CA and I’m excited to go back with friends.
