I’m excited to officially announce that I am starting to offer mentoring for other photographers! This is something that I’ve been wanting to do for awhile, but I honestly didn’t think I was ready for it… until now!

Sometimes when you get a great idea or have your mind set that you want to do something, self-doubt starts to settle in. And that is exactly what happened with mentoring. So when Matoli approached me about offering a workshop I laughed and thought she was crazy. But then she started to list out all of the things we have to offer, all of the things we have learned over the last few years, and she also pointed out how many times we get asked for help.

She was right! I knew that those little whispers of self-doubt were lies. I do have something to give to other photographers. The funny thing is, I’ve been doing it all along and just didn’t realize it. I’ve spent many hours giving other photographers advice be it sitting and talking in a beautiful tasting room somewhere, answering emails or Facebook messages, chatting on the phone… But I’ve finally worked up the courage to take it to the next level. To make it an awesome experience for the other photographer!

I’ll be offering a few new services exclusively for photographers; heart-to-heart consults, one-on-one mentoring, and workshops/styled shoots. They provide different levels of instruction and practice, hoping that there will be an idea learning environment for each photographer.
