For the second leg of our trip we headed out to Sonoma and Napa.  The Fairmont in San Jose was very nice,  but I was looking forward to the place that I picked out for us to stay at while we were in Sonoma.  It is the Kenwood Inn and Spa.  It was almost like a ‘mini spa resort.’  Absolutely gorgeous architecture,  flowers,  fountains,  pools,  dining areas,  lobby,  rooms,  everything!  Everything was so beautiful and calm there.  They have a full time chef that collects ingredients for his made-to-order dishes from the Inn’s garden.  I mean does it get any better than that?!

Of course I had to take my camera along as we strolled through the small courtyards of the Inn.  It was such a treat to stay here.  I highly recommend this place if you go out that way!
